Built some cheap counters for a project of mine and covered them with this contact paper. Looked perfect initially, but developed bubbles after a couple of days and some of the ends started coming unglued. Seems to have poor adhesive. Tried to reapply using spray glue but that didn't work too well either. Using a heat gun can help mold the paper to corners and around edges, but you may need to staple the ends like you would with upholestery to keep the paper secured. I ended up coating it all with epoxy to waterproof the seams and provide a bit more resilience for this application. The paper has a beautiful pattern and a nice shine to it. It may stick better to existing laminate than it does to bare wood or MDF.
